By Adam Furlich

Medium: Acrylic and mixed media

Size: 16" x 20"

Created during a time of grief and stress, the piece was meant to be an examination of mental health and art. Spheres and circles symbolize the intrusive thoughts and attempts to save face.

Each sphere was created using a support tool for mental health (SSRI bottles, empty containers, vape cartridges, etc.) I found peace in the vibrant colors and fun texture from the heavy body acrylics. A large, looming sphere adds a bit of uneasiness to the overall comfort.
