I create expressive art pieces with a focus on vibrant colors, celebrating beauty in various forms. My artistic path began in 2019 when I went back to school to study graphic design. Then, with a desire to help the people of Jamaica, my favorite island, I collaborated with a resort to raise funds for the local schoolchildren. In 2022, I brought several art pieces to the resort which they auctioned to their guests. All proceeds were then donated to the resort/school foundation. I’m still honored to be involved with this exciting project 2 to 3 times a year. I now plan to create a scholarship fund here at home to help high school kids pursue their dream of higher education. I’ll be using some of my art sales to finance this scholarship.My favorite subject matter is the female form to celebrate the strength, elegance and beauty of women. I work primarily with chalk pastels, as that medium is vibrant and sensual by nature.
