“Ultimate Intimate Healing” by Cyndi Freeman

mixed, 3d, interactive,  glow in dark

$150

This piece is focused around the idea of being open and raw to the world, loving beyond the surface.

The head has multpile exposure images of my series, "Complex PTSD," mixed with some self portraits and good memories. Between the images are flakes that of pearlescent and geomtric effects. The gold between the images represent healing and self love.

The Heart has flakes of metallic glitter. This is symbolic of the heartache and vulnerability associated with rejection, heartbreaks and grief over lost relationships. The mirror symbolizes the world's (the audience becomes the world) love and help that helped keep one alive to spite their abusers.

The hands surround the heart in a way that is symbolic of keeping one's heart open to allow love and healing as well as grounding out the bad memories that haunt me.

The monocle around the neck asks the audience to delve into the images of this artists mind and see the swirls of flashbacks that haunt her. The audience can also delve into the heart and see what's worth fighting for and magnify the words that sing in her heart.

As a whole: This piece is all about a self love healing journey after an abusive life. The good memories that fight the flashbacks. The heart that remains open to the world, given freely to those who ask. Its about being raw, real, and vulnerable to another person. The embodiment of a person who has lived thru multpile abusers, multpile losses, who will forever keep their heart open to the worlds magic.
