Anahi Rodriguez, is a Cuban-Mexican Chicago based visual artist. She is a multi-faceted artist. She established a strong interest in visual arts, photography, and poetry while attending Marwen in Chicago from 2008-2012.
In 2011, her poetry was part of an art installation “Project Cabrini Green” that was exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. During that time, her paintings and photography highlighting self love were displayed at the Marwen Art Gallery. In 2014, she led a photography project called “Love in Baltimore” that was showcased at Johns Hopkins University. That same year, she attended live-figure drawing courses that enforced her love for the nude figure. The human form became the base of her canvas work throughout the years depicting self-love in various forms.
In 2021, she began exhibiting her art alongside Pilsen artist, Hector Duarte. She then assisted in creating the “Fight to Stay” mural in Pilsen, Chicago. In 2022, she exhibited her art at multiple art shows in Chicago. Shortly after, she began doing wearable art, working on customizations on shoes, clothing, and accessories.
