This artwork is a mixed media project illustrating a romantic gesture to the Queer women who work in government that cannot reveal their sexual orientation internationally to maintain their jobs and to the women who don’t work in government that have lost their lives playing “Intelligentsia.” Black Roses, a romantic gesture to the women who have passed, to the women I have met, and hopefully will meet again someday.

The Black Roses shaped in feminine eloquence and femininity demonstrated through the botanical representation of the female form encompassing their strength, fertility, and power.
