“Emerge” by Emma Martini

Ceramic and moss on wood

Diameter of 11.5’’

$444

I am fascinated by human perception and psychology, which drives my exploration of fragmented faces and elements of vision emerging from moss on found wood boards. To me, humanity is characterized by cycles of brokenness and healing. Our views of ourselves and others, and life itself, can often be fragmented and skewed, yet the importance of vulnerability, growth, and connection with ourselves, each other, and nature remains evident.Nature and connection offer strength on the journey of healing, revealing the profound beauty that can arise from brokenness. While the emotional lives of humans can be fragile, it is through resilience and connection that our well-being can truly flourish.
