Els Folger

Els, a 35mm street style photographer living in Chicago, IL, now explores painting and drawing as a means to navigate the labyrinthine of postpartum depression, single motherhood and female rage. With a keen perspective, Els, who proudly identifies as queer, impenitently channels authentically how sad the human experience can be. Els’ work has been shown at Split Rail, Chicago (2022), York (2020), and has had her professional sports photography published in various outlets.
