Kala Cullars
Kala Cree Cullars is an Artist and Author based in Chicago, IL. She uses art and poetry to explore human consciousness and the human spirit. Her highest intention is to inspire people to connect with their own divinity and creativity-- expressing as the truest version of themselves. Kala loves to mix media, emotion, and the essence of her being so as to produce transcendent pieces.
She creates reality on both immaterial and material canvas alike. Her work has been featured in various literary magazines and books such as Garland Court Review, High Shelf Press, and Beyond Words--to name a few. Her debut book of poetry and art, Human Experiencing, was self-published in February 2022. Aside from a multitude of festivals such as Gold Coast, Hyde Park, Wells Street and so on, her work has also been exhibited at the Zhou B Gallery, the Martin, the Zolla/Lieberman Gallery and the Fulton Street Collective.
