“The City is an Enigma, The City is a Dream” by Yasmina Kacila

4’’ by 7’’

Acrylic on Canvas

$12 for a Print (original is NFS)

This piece contends with the notion of "the city" as a mystery, a place to escape into, a question to be answered--and the fact that this idea is only an illusion. The city is alive; you cannot inhabit it, only be in relationship with it, and, like any other relationship, it can do no more than hold up a mirror.
