"Blue Life Drawing" by Tina Ziemer

$200.00
Only 1 available

Soft Pastel on Paper

12’’ by 17’’

$200

Tina Ziemer is a visual artist specializing in oil and acrylic paints, as well as oil pastels. Viewing her portfolio as an extension of her sketchbook, Tina’s work can best be described as painted sketches and sketched paintings, capturing the organic evolution of her aesthetic vision.
Her process is grounded in a relaxed yet deliberate approach, building her works through layered imagery and color. This method allows her ideas to take form gradually, often inspired by daydreams and a desire to escape reality. Tina also finds inspiration in the subtleties of everyday life—whether it’s a captivating color palette or an intriguing figure pose.
Spontaneity plays a central role in her creative process. She finds joy in developing initial concept sketches from raw ideas into evolved, informed compositions. For Tina, true satisfaction comes from transforming these early thoughts into finished works that resonate with depth and meaning.
Tina earned her BFA from the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University in 2022. She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with her partner and their two beautiful cats.
