Allison Carol Schmocker (she/her) is a Chicago-based artist and writer who utilizes acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, and embroidery to weave the universal stories we share to the unique experience of womanhood. As a self-described creator, she focuses on creating conversations with art, bringing to the forefront an open dialogue about gender/sexual identity, reproductive health access, and the way every women is connected. She is a recent recipient of the 3Arts Make A Wave award. Previous works have been displayed at the DragonFLY Gallery, Agitator Gallery, Light Space & Time Art Gallery, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. She is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago.
