By utilizing repeating patterns and bold colors I express and explore my sense of self and the spaces I inhabit. I'm inspired primarily by nature, especially water, and I use abstract colors and shapes to express and understand my own interpretation of reality as a lesbian and what my place in the world is. Collecting materials off the side of the road is a source of inspiration for me, and these materials are incorporated into my work in a myriad of ways. 

I see my work as a documentation of my contemporary lesbian experience. As I find my place inside and out of the queer community, I create work in the hope that others will be able to connect with me through my art as I express emotions and experiences I'm not able to otherwise.
