Anna Roller Hess

It is the saddest thing to have a bird in a cage. As people, we put ourselves in cages all the time. We believe the reason we can’t …(fill in the blank) is because of …(fill in the blank). The hardest part of the challenge is taking the first action towards change. Limiting beliefs are OPTIONAL. When a bird wants to leave it takes flight. For me, riding a bike is like flying. I can go fast and feel powerful. I’ve been riding for over twenty years. As I get older and the “extended warranty” on my body is no longer renewable, biking is still my refuge. Biking is my sanctuary, my church, my meditation. When I bike I have no limits. Like a bird, I fly away.
