Wood

I am interested in the human form and structure. In particular, the structure of the head and face. Historically, in sculpture, the emotion of the piece has been created in the gesture of the body while leaving the face void of expression. In my work, the emphasis is on the face and hands to show emotion while the gesture of the body supports the feeling. For me, these pieces reflect the prominent emotions of our time.
