Radiance

By William McNeil

Will McNeil (born in 1996, lives and works in Chicago, IL) is an artist and architectural designer whose work explores the balance between potential space and form. McNeil developed his artistic technique by echoing the lines of artists like Kim Jung Gi, Moebius, Hirohiko Araki, and various others. From them, he learned the depth that can be conveyed by a single line and has remained faithful to this ethos. McNeil examines the interplay of the human and the natural in their endless configurations — both additive and subtractive. To remain playful, yet discern this contention, is the challenge in his work.
